End Yoke - Forged 1350 Series
40 Spline Hero transfer case
|
This forged 1350 series end yoke is manufactured for the Hero transfer case. It can be used on either the front or rear output, and is the same part the Hero case would be delivered with if ordered with 1350 end yokes Note: Early versions of the Hero transfer case used threaded shafts and large nuts to hold on yokes or flanges. On these cases, the threaded portion of the shaft needs to be shortened by about 3/8 inch, and the nut machined down by about 1/4 inch to allow for better clearance of the u-joint body and driveshaft articulation. Later transfer case models changed to a bolt and washer design that does not have clearance issues.
