Forged Alloy Slip Yoke 1480 series, Ø1.750x16 spline 6.810 Centerline to End

We developed this slip yoke to eliminate the weak link in a 1480 series driveshaft when used in high torque/high horsepower applications such as truck pulling, rock bouncing, Ultra-4, etc - the slip stub. It uses the much stronger 1-3/4x16 spline to allow for the standard 1550 series slip stubs to be used. We later upgraded the material from standard steel to a Chromemoly alloy for greater resistance to twisting.

Pairs best with the following tube shafts for about 2.5" of slip:

Ø2.5 x .250" - NDT-00149

Ø3.0 x .095" - SPI-4-40-821

Ø3.5 x .095" - SPI-4-40-761 (most common = least expensive)

Ø4.0 x .083" - SPI-4-40-781
